PRIVACY POLICY
Effective: 26 August 2026
This policy explains what information SQUADUP uses to operate teammate matching, social features, safety tools, and account access.
INFORMATION WE USE
We process account details such as email address, username, and a securely hashed password. Matchmaking profiles can include Riot ID, rank, region, server, roles, spoken languages, play style, mic preference, availability, preferred maps, bio, and avatar.
We also process activity required for the service: swipes, matches, squads, messages, friend requests, reports, blocks, moderation actions, push subscriptions, limited product events, and technical request logs. Push subscriptions contain browser-generated delivery keys, not notification content history.
WHY WE USE IT
We use this information to authenticate you, recommend compatible teammates, run squads and chat, prevent abuse, enforce community rules, and keep the service reliable. We do not sell personal information.
STORAGE AND SECURITY
Session tokens are kept in secure HTTP-only cookies. Passwords are hashed and are never stored as plain text. Access to administrative endpoints is role-restricted and moderation actions are audited.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and never share your Riot or SQUADUP credentials.
YOUR CHOICES
You can edit profile information, enable or disable browser push notifications, download a machine-readable copy of your data, and delete a standard account from Agent Settings. Some safety records may be retained when required for fraud prevention or legal obligations.
THIRD PARTIES
SQUADUP is independent and is not endorsed by Riot Games. Links to Discord or other services are governed by those services’ own privacy terms.
